Choose on the screen that is easiest
A phone is often faster for typing a title than a television remote. Find the film here, check its release year and choose a viewing service. Then open the same production through that service's supported television app if that suits your setup. Keeping the year in mind helps avoid a similarly named remake.
Browsers are not identical
A current desktop browser, an older Smart TV browser and a console app have different capabilities. If a television's browser is awkward, use a supported viewing app instead of expecting every web player to behave the same way. Casting also depends on the selected service and compatible sending and receiving devices.
Take your shortlist with you
